Bought new set of tires from Caltire. I am a driver with 30 years of winter experience. I have seen a lot of wintr tires in my life, but these ones are the worse tires that I had. Firstly at speed of 70 km per hr and up you hear that noise like the your differential is going to die soon how knows what sounds is like , it is so noise inside absolutely insane. If you have a long trip you are going to be exosted by that noise. The faster you go the lauder is the noise. Secondly, after 15000km the grip is bad, so you might find your self in a intersection that you cannot control your car when you driving 20 km per hour bassicaly you feel like you don't have winter tires. Third, I got so many times flat tires. It is so annoing when you get up in the morning at 6 am and there's -25 and you find out that actualy your tires are almost flat, doesn't keep the presure at frezing temperatures. Fourth the tires are heavier as a result you end up in higher fuel consumption. The only one good think is that the look nice on your suv, otherwise don't spent money on this trash. I will never ever buy Nokian Hakkapeliitta tires.

Tried and true, the Nokian winter tire provides a safe, comfortable ride. Fantastic grip provides comfort and safety on the road. I won't drive another brand of tire in the winter!

I live in upstate NY where snow and ice are a pretty normal part of winter. I also travel into Canada several times each winter. These tires are the BEST winter tires I've ever purchased. Awesome dry/wet traction. Snow and ice performance are even better. I've driven through literal blizzard conditions without flinching. Will definitely buy a set for my next SUV after this lease is up.

I live these tires for winter driving; they do great on ice and snow and are quite on the freeway.

I've previous run blizzak dm-v2, ws-90, lots of altimax artlctic and now these Hakka r3 SUV's. All perform really well, but after making an hour long drive through freezing rain, sleet and then 4-8 inches of snow/crust/slush I do understand the "Hakka fever" now. These sucker BITE into it all. I'm not a conservative driver and I always make sure I test a winter tire to it's limit when encountering varying conditions so I know what to expect when I get a little heavy on the gas, wheel or brakes. I was immediately impressed with these tires. The amount of grip they have in those conditions is noticeably better than the others mentioned imo. Even with my vehicle at its lightest I was surprised how much force it took to lose traction and break the back end loose with traction control off. Sudden breaking also resulted in a nice straight predictable stop. Lateral bite was truly awesome. In calmer driving I was surprised to see I was confidently doing 45 on icy hard pack and it felt like dry pavement. Wet traction and dry pavement performance are also really comfortable. I might be a Hakka user for life now.

A friend of mine recommended these tires to me. I decided to spend the money on them and so glad I have! So far they are working very well for me on treacherous, wintery roads, and in slush/wet conditions also. Have not had them long enough to comment on the tread yet; the noise is normal for any snow tire. Would definitely recommend at this point!

Fantastic winter tires! I live where roads are icy and 12" of snow at a crack is not uncommon. Tires perform excellent in snow and ice conditions with emphasis to stopping power and lateral control on ice. The Hakkapeliitta R3 tires easily stop my 2 ton vehicle 10-15 feet sooner than the OEM three peak rated tires it came with. If you want winter tire performance Nokians are the way to go!

Just bought a new set as a winter tire for my F150. I ran the R2 last 3 years. Great tire. Wears fast with 3.5 ecoboost and 500lb ft of torque. Got 3 winters before I noticed a major decrease in performance. We get 3-4 foot drifts in the driveway all winter on shore of Lake Ontario. I can always make it out of the driveway which is a couple hundred feet long before it's plowed.
