Not what the KO2's were
Couldn't wait to get the KO3's after having such good luck with the KO2's at 59,000 miles & counting on my 2018 2500HD diesel pickup. Was about to give in and order a different option until I saw the KO3's become available...done deal. I had them installed by a reputable shop along with an alignment & front end check. I had to bring my truck back within 500mi for a re-balance due to vibration issues. The shop re-balanced & rotated them, one tire requiring just under 6oz of weight. At highway speed, I can see my passenger seat shake and feel it in my seat...not great on long road trips. They're also a bit louder than my KO2's, feel stiffer at equal pressure, cost me about 0.5-1mpg on average and are a bit more nervous feeling even after about 2,700 miles, which was a bummer. The tires look great and I'm sure would do awesome in snow & off road (which I haven't driven on yet), but they've been a step back for me compared with the KO2's. BF Goodrich was less than helpful with canned responses to my specific questions, and Simple Tire never responded to either of my contact messages. Soooo, here I sit at this very moment at my local Firestone store getting a set of Destination XT's installed and the BFG All Terrain Octagons pulled off.
